The 12th Rugby have been selected to receive a grant of £500 from the Elliott’s Field Environmental Project. This will enable us to buy solar panels and batteries to be used when we go camping. This means we will have electricity for lighting and fridges where none is available and without the use of generators. This will greatly reduce our carbon footprint while the young people are out having adventures.

Giant Fundraising Quiz at the Benn Hall!
As you know we have a large number of young people from Rugby District attending next years Jamboree in Japan as part of the Warwickshire contingent.
They are all working very hard to raise the funds they need to make this opportunity of a lifetime happen.
The next event they are putting on is the biggest event so far. The giant fundraising quiz on the 10th of October at the Benn Hall. Ticket information is on the attached poster.
Please look to support this event by entering teams from your group/section, parents, work place etc.
Can I also ask that you forward this out to all your parents and work colleagues.
It will be a great opportunity to fill the Benn hall and show scouting working together to support our young people.
